Richard Farmer, Associate Conservator

Richard Farmer has been working with Schuettinger Conservation Services for close to 30 years. He specializes in working with historical furniture and is accomplished in the art of marquetry, parquetry, and other forms of inlay utilizing all forms of traditional materials to include exotic woods, mother of pearl, ivory, tortoise shell, and various metals.

He is also highly experienced with the duplication of turned or carved elements, historic hand joinery, and historic finish preservation.
